Who’s running the show? The Promoter is A.P.V.C. Holdings Pty Limited (ABN 88 092 447 955) of Accor Vacation Club Building, Level 2, 14 Edgewater Court, Robina, Qld, Australia 4226. Accor Vacation Club is an exciting, innovative holiday ownership club offering fantastic choice and flexibility to its Members in a wide variety of locations worldwide.
Can I Play? Entry is available to Australian and New Zealand
residents over the age of 18 years. Employees and immediate family
of the Promoter, promotional partners, their affiliated companies and
their related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act),
are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per household will be accepted
as an eligible entry.
How do I play? You can enter between 1st July 2009 and midnight
on 30th September 2009. No purchase is necessary to enter this
contest or to redeem prizes. An entry is only eligible where all
required information on the entry form is completed and submitted
via entry box or at www.accorvacationclub.com.au or if contacted
by a Call Centre Representative. All entries become the property
of the Promoter. Neither the sponsors nor any of their agents are
responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or
ineligible entries.
What can I win? All eligible entries received during the period of the competition will go into the draw to a $2,500 Accor Gift Card. The Accor Gift Card can be used as payment or part-payment at more than 135 participating Accor Hotels (excluding Formule 1), resorts and apartments throughout Australia, Fiji and New Zealand. Card credit can be used as payment towards accommodation (publicly available rates apply), and incidental food and beverage charges including room service, mini bar and in-house dining. Participating hotels are subject to change without notice and gift card can not be used in conjunction with any other Accor, Accor Vacation Club or Accor Advantage Plus offers. Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Gift Card may be subject to additional terms and conditions which can be viewed at www. accorgiftcards.com.au. Lost, damaged or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any portion of this prize not being redeemed by expiry date. The total prize is valued at $2,500.00. All figures are retail estimates only and current at the time of printing. Prize value is in Australian currency and includes GST where applicable.
How do you pick the winner? The draw will take place at 2pm Queensland time at the office of the Promoter via a computerised random selection process. Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible entries received. The draw will take place 23rd October 2009. Prize is guaranteed to be given away by random drawing from all versions of this contest conducted concurrently in Australia and New Zealand.
How do I find out if I am the winner? Winner will be notified by telephone and by mail within 72 hours of the draw. The winner’s details will be published in The Australian and New Zealand Herald newspapers on 28th October 2009. If unclaimed, the prize will be re-drawn at 2pm Queensland time at the office of the Promoter via a computerised random selection process, on 22nd January 2010 with details of re-draw winner (if any) published in The Australian and New Zealand Herald newspapers on 27th January 2010.
If I win… If you are the lucky winner, your details will be disclosed to the parties with whom the Promoter has contracted to provide the advertised prize. It is a condition of entry that if you win the prize you agree to be photographed accepting the prize and agree that the Promoter may publish such photograph in marketing, publicity and promotional material without any further payment or compensation to you. You’ll be responsible for all taxes, insurance and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with that prize that are not included in the prize description unless otherwise specified. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. You can not transfer, exchange or redeem your prize for cash, unless otherwise stated.
What happens to my entry? Information provided by entrants is being collected by the Promoter for the purposes of the advertised competition and utilisation by the Promoter for marketing and promotion of various goods and services. The Promoter may also disclose information collected to its related entities, affiliated suppliers or contracted third parties for their marketing purposes.
Privacy… The Accor Group may, from time to time, mail promotional
offers to selected entrants. If you do not wish to receive these
mail offers please email your name and address details to dnc@
accorvacationclub.com.au. The Accor Group consists of any and all
of those entities identified from time to time in Accor’s Privacy Policy
- available at www.accorhotels.com.au/privacy/ and includes AAPC
